Gills This release is insane. Peach is an incredible talent and these tracks have given me such a massive fucking boost. Top drawer stuff, grateful for the quality and hard work on this record

marky.marbles Slamming release from Peach Discs - love every minute of it. The ambience of VGV's New Car lends itself so well to the second track, and it just builds from there really. Bob Laser melted my brain and, for me, that's why it's a highlight. Lovely stuff gang, roll on Vol. 2! Favorite track: Bob Laser.
CHOSEN

CHOSEN Your typical "swimsuit episode", minus the male-gaze nonsense. Fun, waves and sunset ONLY. Favorite track: Hive.

about

Peach Discs is proud to present Peach Pals, Vol.1 – the label's first compilation. Put together by label owners Shanti Celeste and Gramrcy from demos sent in by friends and strangers both inside and outside the Peach Discs orbit over the past year or so, Peach Pals, Vol.1 represents where the label has been, where it's at and where's it going.

The record's first track – VGV's "New Car" – continues where the rhythmic ambience of Chekov's Aerated EP left off and marks the debut release from the exciting Chilean artist. Ciel returns to Peach Discs alongside good friend Ali Berger for the aptly titled "Damn Skippy!," a percolating, low-slung jam that bumps in all the right places. "Bob Laser," from France's E-Unity, is an electroacoustic heater built from mind-warping tones and dislocated vocal gibberish, while Gramrcy doesn’t mess about with his first track on the label – the breaks and piano-based speedster "Tally Brains." Capping things off is "Hive" from Will Lister, offering up a fresh and highly melodic take on the 160 format.

Peach Pals, Vol.1 will be released Friday 19th June. All profits from sales of the Peach Discs catalogue on Bandcamp during this day – including this record – will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
